Welcome to the Blog

In spring semester of 2012, Mordu traveled to London to undertake dissertation research on mathematics education and religion in early modern England. Rachel, who loves Earl Grey tea and Jane Austen novels and Mordu, came along. She is working on her final comprehensive exam in her PhD program in Ancient Judaism. This blog is an experiment. We're hoping it will be a fun way to share pictures and anecdotes about our experience with friends and family back home. And no, we have no expectations that anyone read it regularly. In fact, we're not sure yet whether we will be good at updating it regularly. And no, we don't think of it as a substitute for properly keeping in touch. We promise to call home!

    This is super, Chel. Love all the pictures. Thanks for posting them, and keep it up (as you have time). The apartment looks lovely. A country with Starbucks, Asian groceries, and orange cars -- must be good.
