Albert Memorial

This memorial was built to commemorate Albert, the husband of Queen Victoria. This picture is a view of the entire Albert Memorial, in all its floridly ornate glory. The gold statue in the middle is Albert. The four white statues surrounding him closely represent sectors of the economy (agriculture, manufacturing, engineering, and commerce), and the four surrounding the whole memorial represent four continents (Europe, Asia, Africa, and America).
